LOOKING FOR AN EXCHANGE IN VALENCIA! (januari 26-feb 4 2024)
PLEASE NOTE: i think my apartment is most suited for 2 adults. (this means i will almost always deny requests for more people...)
My apartment is right in the middle of our beautiful canals. It is located on the first and second floor and since only bicycles and pedestrians are allowed in the street it is nice and quiet. Be prepared for Amsterdam staircases to first and second floor, meaning short and narrow steps...)
It is a cosy and quirky apartment, comfy sofa, good dining chairs and table and a fully equipped kitchen. Lots of cooking books! Bedroom boasts a very comfortable huge double bed (it takes up the room... almost) . Built in wardrobes and a small but compact bathroom, the shower is in the bathtub. There is a second small bedroom with an inflatable bed, comfortable for a child or 1 (not too tall) adult.
The original house was built in the 18th century which is still visible by just looking at the exterior, the house has a protected monument status. Inside lots of changes have been made over many years but the beamed ceilings and some of the windows are a beautiful reminder of the past.
My big dining room table and stable internet connection could serve as a home office, the house itself is quiet and therefor ideal for any conference calls or meetings you may need to be on.... But if i were you i would really enjoy the peace and quiet for a good night sleep (i usually leave the window open, it's that tranquil) and explore the city during the day and evening....

I live extremely central right in between two beautiful canals. It is hard to be any more central in this city!
You can walk anywhere in the city, and enjoy the surroundings in all seasons. The big musea and Vondelpark are in easy reach, from 5 to 20 minutes on foot. But off course the tram stop is just around the corner, too. Our street is a residential one, no cars allowed, and there are two small restaurants located here. A little quiet street right in the middle of the historical centre. I would highly recommend a walk early morning or later in the evening to soak up the local vibe and enjoy all the beauty of the canals and the architecture.
My location allows you to do almost anything by foot. Walk to restaurants, food shopping, going to clubs or the cinema, it is a really relaxed place to be!

Because of the narrow stairs and bedrooms on the second floor the house might not be very suitable for a very young child, but there are inflatable beds available for a child or adult, and also no amenities for smaller children, please feel free to inquire if you would like to travel with a small child.
The stairs are a bit steep and narrow and the apartment starts at the first floor so some walking is always involved. This may not be suitable for some elderly people.
Please note: The private parking is a couple of streets away from my home, and still in a public garage. Usually it is occupied and only available if arranged well in advance!!
