Our house is located on a hill, 2,5 km up from the nearest village. We lead rather secluded life here, most often you meet no one during the walk. We only have one neighbouring house here. We are surrounded by a vast forest from one side and meadows from all the others. The place is really magic. We love our house and hope you will love it too. It was build in 1934. My husbund's parents purchased the house in 1982, the total redecoration took place 4 years ago. We tried to preserve its original look together with the color of paint on the outside walls. The biggest change we decided to introduce was to add a grand window in the wall that overlooks the forest. So now you can sit inside and feel as if you live in the forest no matter what the weather is. We've got beautiful spring, summer and autumn here. And we also have hard winter with lots of snow. The most special thing about our house is the view. Beause of the fact it stands on the hill you can see on a very long distance from here (60 km). From spring to autumn you can have barbeues on a place especially prepared for that. In winter you can go cross country skiing and on sledge.

Our house is located in Jizera mountains, the Lower Silesia region. It's a mountain chain situated partly in Poland, partly in Czech Republic. The Lower Silesia region is famous for the mountains as well as the biggest number of historic sites that attract tourists not only from Poland but also from other countries. There are lots of palaces and castles, most of them in romantic English style. The vicinity of Czech Republic and its capital city, Prague makes the place even more atrractive. Itis 120 km to Prague, 50 km to Gorlitz, which is on the border between Poland and Germany. So staying in our house you can easily visit three countries at the same time. The Polish touristically atrractive places are:
Świeradów-Zdroj- mountain resort with healing water springs -7 km
Szklarska Poreba-mountain resort and a great base to set off to Karkonosze mountains - 25 km
Czocha castle-15 km
The Valley of Palaces and Gardens 30 km
Jelenia Gora town- 28 km
