Our exchanges do not have to be simultaneous as we have flexibility with our other properties in Maine and Florida.

-We are in a very quiet residential neighborhood so absolutely no parties, large gatherings, or any guests at the home without our prior approval.

-Sorry no children allowed our home is not set up to accommodate children.

Our home in West Medford was built circa 1920's and is a center entrance Colonial-style home (very typical New England). Our home is located in a very quiet upscale neighborhood with a lake down the road. We have four levels of living space. We have a driveway for 2 cars and plenty of on street parking.

The Main level includes a large modern eat-in kitchen, living room with fireplace, dining room, and sunroom/office with computer, wi-fi internet.

The second level has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms.The master bedroom has a Queen size cooling gel memory foam bed. There is an en-suite bathroom with dressing room, large jacuzzi tub, and separate WC (toilet). The second bedroom has a queen sizecooling gel memory foam bed with a newly renovated bathroom across the hall with walk in shower sink and toilet. The laundry room is conveniently located on this level.

The third floor has one bedroom with a full size tempurpedic bed and loveseat. The fourth bedroom is used for storage and not available for exchange.

The basement is a finished family room with television, with some fitness equipment (nordictrack, treadmill,universal weight machine with bench and free weights). There is also a half bath on this level. This can also be a playroom for children.

The house is very warm and inviting and includes 2.5 baths. It also has central air conditioning throughout the home. We have a deck off the kitchen with barbeque grill for outdoor cooking and entertaining. We have a large fenced in private yard. The exchange times our Boston, Maine available are flexible. We can do simultaneous or non-simultaneous exchanges.

We also own Two condo/townhouses called "Windsong" on the southern coast of Maine at Well Beach and Harbor.(one and a half hour drive from Boston) One a 2 bedroom one and a half bath townhouse, the other a 3 bedroom, two and a half bath, situated on an acre of beach dune with our own private path to the beach,This property boasts gorgeous views of Wells Beach and Harbor, the jetty's, and Kennebunkport. It also has a very private and quiet yard. Windsong is available for flexible exchange times just ask.

Quiet lovely neighborhood in West Medford, one of Boston's most desirable and accessible suburbs, very accessible to Boston, Somerville and Cambridge via public transportation.

West Medford is located just 4 miles/10 minute drive to downtown Boston.

The commuter train to Boston is a 3 minute walk from our home (one stop to Boston about 10 minutes on the train to North Station).

Just down the road from us are the beautiful Mystic lakes with walking and biking path around the lake.

The Medford Brooks Estate is at the end of our street which is a beautiful quiet wooded oasis perfect for walking around Brooks pond and the estate.

One will never run out of things to do here. Boston has many historic sites such as: The Freedom Trail, Old Ironsides (USS Constitution), Bunker Hill Monument, The Paul Revere House and the historic North End of Boston to name a few! Boston is a very "walkable" city, and its public transportation is very extensive and accessible

West Medford provides an ideal centrally located New England setting. It is also located close to historic Lexington, Harvard University, Harvard Square, Cambridge,MIT, Somerville, Davis Square and historic Lexington and Concord.

West Medford also features many restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shop,salons,post office and other local businesses. Bus service to Harvard Square, Davis Square is just a 5 minute walk from our home.Also a 5 minute walk from our home is the picturesque Mystic Lakes with walking trail.

Medford, Massachusetts, in Middlesex county, is 4 miles NW of Boston, Massachusetts. It's situated along the Mystic River. The city features a collection of distinct neighborhoods. West Medford is regarded as an affluent area. Medford includes a large Italian population and is known for its great Italian restaurants and deli’s as well as excellent bakeries. The city also includes a large number of Irish-Americans. Visitors have opportunities to see numerous historic sites and houses.

The area was formerly owned by Mathew Cradock. The city was established in 1630 as part of Charleston. During the 1840's and the 1850's large portions of the farmland was sold and replaced with commercial buildings and homes. It was incorporated as a city in 1892 and became a prominent location for manufacturing bricks, tile, clipper ships, Medford Crackers and rum.
In the late 19th century at Simpson's Tavern, local resident James Pierpont wrote the well known song "Jingle Bells." He was inspired by a sleigh race. Lydia Maria Child, another local resident wrote a poem which became the popular song "Over the River and Through the Woods." The poem was inspired by her trip to her grandparents house.

Medford Activities

Wrights Pond provides opportunities for swimming, fishing, picnicking and hiking. The city has numerous parks which offer sports venues. The Middlesex Fells Reservation is used for hiking, bicycle riding and includes a sledding area. Nearby Boston offers a variety of activities and entertainment.
Medford Transportation
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority provides bus services. Residents have access to the area's rapid transit system.
Medford Higher Education
Medford is home to Tufts University.

West Medford is 45 minutes from some of the areas most beautiful beaches on the North Shore and 1-2 hour drive to New Hampshire, coastal Maine, Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket ferries, and Newport, RI. New York City is a 3 and a half hour drive. You will have easy access to all the historical sites in the area. Medford is home to the prestigious Tufts University which is a 15 minute walk or 3 minute car ride and also on the bus line 5 minutes from our home. Our home is truely suburban living a stones throw from Boston and all it has to offer.
