Our home was rebuilt in 2006 and sits on beautiful, clean, 10 mile long Lake Bomoseen. The house is set back off the main road and nestled in among large pine trees. The area is very peaceful and quiet. We have 2 large decks, upper and lower...you can swim, boat, and fish off of the lower deck.
Since the house is new it is very clean and fresh. Two Wood burning fireplaces, wood floors, granite countertops and a floor to ceiling granite fireplace are some of the accents. The bathrooms are large and modern.
Lake Bomoseen is still a well kept secret so it is never crowded. There are two excellent restaurants on the lake. (One with outdoor dining and live entertainment in the good weather.)
We are within a half an hour of the major ski areas, Killington and Okemo. Vermont has many other top notch ski resorts, like Stowe or Bromley. (In the winter you do need four wheel drive to be sure of getting in and out of our road.)
Vermont offers great fall foliage, antique shops, and art galleries.
We are four hours from New York City and aprox two hours from Boston and 3-4 hours from Montreal and an hour and half from Burlington, VT

Our home is on the lake and is set well off the main road for a peaceful environment. We have neighbors, but the houses are well spaced and the neighbors are not full time residents and often not here.
Lake Bomoseen is a glacial lake and is very clean with great fishing and swimming, and boating. There is the local Woodards Marina if you want to rent a boat during your visit. We have a nice dock arrangement right at the house.
Walking, biking, cross country skiing, snow shoeing can all be done right around the neighborhood. Major ski areas, Killington and Okemo are very close.
Vermont has a great art community and there is always an interesting local artist to visit in the area
