Welcome to our cosy longère (traditional Breton farmhouse), in a peaceful and green setting just 30 minutes from the ocean. This house (150m2) dates from the 17th century and was restored in 2000.
The ground floor is made up of a large, open space living/dining room with a wood-burning stove. The south facing French windows lead out onto the terrace, perfect for dining outside under the shade of the Persian silk tree.
Separate toilets, bathroom and laundry room (washing machine + tumble dryer) make up the ground floor.
Upstairs there are 2 large bedrooms : our son’s bedroom with a single bunk bed (90x200) - plenty of space to play ;-) and the spare bedroom, also Margot’s office, with a double bed (140x200). Our bedroom has a a double bed (140x200) and a floor-level window that looks out onto our beautiful garden.
We have 2 additional single mattresses (90x200) which can be installed if required.
Upstairs there's also a shower room, toilet, dressing room and a small library area on the landing.
We have a beautiful 8,000m2 open garden, with many trees, leading to a forest below, with access to a small river.
It's an oasis of calm in the countryside.
The house is located in a hamlet 3km from the town of Pluvigner. A small organic farm is run from the next doorbuilding, with “Pie Noirs” cows and chicken. Our neighbors are friendly and discreet, and you’ll have fresh local eggs and cheese on your doorstep !
