Welcome to Defence Colony, one of Delhi’s most sought-after and prestigious neighborhoods. Known for its charm, safety, and centrality, our home offers you a peaceful retreat in the heart of South Delhi.
Our location is truly unbeatable—just a two-minute walk from the vibrant Defence Colony Market, a culinary hotspot featuring some of the city's finest restaurants and cafés. Whether you're a history enthusiast, culture seeker, or food lover, our home provides seamless access to Delhi’s most iconic destinations, all within a 5 to 20-minute Uber ride or a short walk. Say goodbye to the city’s notorious traffic and hello to effortless exploration!

At home, we follow a diet inspired by yogic traditions, focusing on organic vegetarian meals. You are warmly invited to share these meals with us—our compliments.
Cooking Lessons
Interested in Indian cuisine? Join us for a hands-on vegetarian cooking lesson, where you’ll learn to prepare wholesome and authentic dishes. It’s a wonderful way to incorporate more vegetables into your diet while discovering the richness of Indian flavors. Past guests have loved this fun and enriching experience.
COMFORT, CLEANLINESS & SECURITY
Your comfort and well-being are our top priorities. There is a cleaning charge of Euro 15 per person (Euro 40 min) We ensure:
✅ Impeccable Cleanliness – Rooms are sanitized, with fresh dry-cleaned linens and towels provided.
✅ 24-Hour Security – A security guard is present on-site for added safety.
✅ Private Parking – Dedicated space available.
✅ Alternate Day Cleaning – To maintain hygiene and freshness throughout your stay.
The room for your stay has an en-suite bathroom, fully equipped with heating, ACs, Air Purifiers and other necessities. We have a separate dining space, and a living room which you are more than welcome to use and share with us. A workstation space can also be provided if you are on a work - staycation.
It's likely that we will be home during your travels; even though we travel extensively... so won't be able to promise the complete house for the exchange. Almost all our exchanges are with guests who have shared the house with us; so, we request you to read the reviews.

LATE ARRIVALS and MIDNIGHT DEPARTURES:
Our place is in a secure diplomatic area and because of the additional security, all gates leading to our property close at 10:00 pm and open at 6:00 am. During the night-time, only one gate is open so if you have an early morning flight (arrival - departure) means that the night guard will have to stay up and coordinate your taxi arrival or departure. During these times, it's convenient for us to arrange a taxi to pick / drop you up from the airport / train station. For airport pickups: the driver will wait at the Exit gate with NAME CARD and will get you to our place conveniently.
The charges for a TAXI are, if you want a driver to pick you up from the airport with a Name Card on arrival.
Small Car: Euro 35 (2 People)
Big Car: Euro 50 (4 People)
SAFETY & SECURITY
We have three surveillance cameras: one at the entrance, one in the kitchen and one in the dining area. We have staff to take care of the property cleaning and cooking, and this helps us establish security and communication. This is in accordance with home Exchange privacy rules.
LOCAL TIPS & LOGISTICS
CURRENCY EXCHANGE: We travel extensively so can help with currency exchange with no commissions.
SIM Cards: Airtel SIMs are best purchased at the T3 Terminal at New Delhi Airport. (Open 24 hours)
TAJ MAHAL DAY TRIP: The superfast train to Agra is 90 minutes away, with the station just 10 minutes from our home.
DELHI TRANSPORTATION: Affordable taxis and a nearby metro make getting around easy.
CERTIFIED GUIDES: We can recommend multilingual guides for a richer experience.
