We are located in a community called Etowah, which is approximately a 45 min drive from downtown Asheville, 20 min from Brevard, 20 min from Hendersonville. We are Located in mountains of Western North Carolina USA. We are 20 min from Asheville airport, 2 hrs. 10 Min from charlotte airport. 1 1/2 hours from Great Smokey National Park.
This home is available for maximum 4 people. If more than 2 guest, a 75.00 cleaning fee is expected or if a dog is approved . Number of guests must be determined upon finalized exchange please.
Guestpoints welcome anytime (almost) with a hospitality exchange, (you are our special guests while we are home) This home will be immaculately clean! Can accommodate up to 4 people. .2 bedrooms, bonus room , 2 1/2 bathrooms. Modern kitchen, s s appliances (updated 2021) We have many kitchen appliances for you to use. A kitchen aide mixer, various coffee making options, slow cookers, waffle iron, food processor, you get that I’m a foodie?! In the spacious living room there is high quality leather furniture. The dining room has antique oak furniture, bay windows over looking the side yard with bird feeders
A dog can be considered, but please ask in advance and we have some guidelines to follow, including completely trained to potty outside! Must be on flea/tick prevention and not allowed on any furniture. We Provide nice , clean dog beds .
There is a 55” smart tv in the living room and a 44 “ smart tv in the guest room. The primary bedroom has a firm , queen bed and en-suite bathroom. Large glass wall in shower, double sinks.
The laundry room is available with modern washer/dryer. Oversized , off the street parking is available.
There is a large screen porch and an outside deck (237 sf) overlooking beautiful park like yard. Numerous bird feeders attract many species of birds and even white squirrels. A Masterbuilt charcoal-smoker grill is on the deck (operating instructions will be provided if you would like to use this). There is wrought iron furniture on the deck.
The front door has your personal code for keyless entry. The entry way is lighted all night.
We take a lot of pride in our home and yard.
You may feel free to cut some fresh roses from my garden , if in bloom. The large screen porch is our favorite place to hang out! Plenty of comfortable furniture. In the ‘red room’ , which is a multi purpose room, Please advise in advance if you will be needing this and how many people will be staying in the house. No parties allowed.
There is a fenced backyard. If your dog is approved to come , please pick up after with the shovel and bags provided.
This house is well maintained, but please advise immediately if anything is found to need attention.
The house will be thoroughly cleaned before you arrive and when exchanging, that is something we would appreciate too .
Etowah golf coarse is 1/2 mile from our house.
Dupont State park offers amazing hikes of all levels and 5 gorgeous waterfalls, mountain biking, and beautiful nature experiences. I can’t imagine missing the opportunity to go downtown Asheville on Friday night! Biltmore Estate is more than just the largest home in America, built in late 1800’s but the most beautiful, large gardens and green houses full of exotic plants and perfect climate controlled for you to stroll through. Bike trails, lakes and restaurants too. So there is plenty to do in our area.

We are in a residential neighborhood, convenient to roads leading you into towns of Asheville, (30 min), Brevard (15 min), Hendersonville (12 min) by car. There is not public transportation at this location, but uber is available. There is ample, off the street , driveway parking. Outside lighting and beautifully maintained yards, gardens are surrounding the home. The screened back porch and outside deck is very relaxing. There are bird feeders around attracting many species of birds. We even have white squirrels!
