My home is a modern flat in a newly built house directly next to a river. You can reach the flat with a balcony via the lift (or stairs) to the second story of four. The flat has a high-quality interior from the wooden oak floor to the bathroom with rain shower and bathtub to the balcony (westside, roofed) overlooking a small river, without forgetting the high-quality fitted kitchen. The flat has an open living room with fully integrated kitchen. A separate household room, a walk-in closet and a nice bedroom, as well as a large luxurious bathroom. The whole building is barrier-free from the underground car park (your private underground parking space included) to the top floor. The modern flat is centrally located in the popular textile quarter of Augsburg. The city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Augsburg has more than 300.000 inhabitants and is well known for its museums, art, architecture, and a brilliant quality of life. The quarter has a high standard of living. A large shopping mall (“City Gallery”) is just 5 minutes away by foot. The old town and city center is very enjoyable. In case Augsburg is too small, you can reach Munich (>1.500.000 inhabitants) by ICE express train in around 30 Minutes. The Neuschwanstein Castle is around 1:15h away by car. Augsburg is centrally located within Bavaria, which makes it a great starting point to travel. The train connections from the central station allow fast connections to many places in Europe. Btw. mobility: local car sharing vehicles are available directly in front of the house. You can see them from the window. However, the next museums (e.g. the Textile Museum and various art galleries) are only a few minutes away on foot. Grocery shopping can be done close by as well, as there are three supermarkets less than 5 Minutes away on foot. There is virtually nothing that could significantly improve the location of the apartment. My favorites are the extended walks and running at the river and in the forest just 10 minutes away.
