Our apartment is a balcony over the sea indeed, as the name of the complex that contains it so well says - Balcones de Los Hidalgos. With its 180° panorama, from Marbella to Gibraltar, its terrace, living room & master bedroom offer the spectacle of the sea, mountain & lush nature. The comfort and coziness of the home makes the decision to leave it a rather hard one. The amenities, the romantic & subtle design, the entire atmosphere are keys to a unforgettable vacation by the sea.
Each little detail is important to us, this is why we put a lot of soul when we have combined the colors, the fabrics, the perfume, the light, the furniture and its placement, wishing to fully integrate the interior space within the marine landscape which is so vibrant and present all around. The perfume of the house is Verbena, an aroma with inciting and relaxing citrus and Mediterranean plants nuances. Natural light floods the apartment all day long in a spectacular chromatic dynamic. The neutral colored curtains are filtering the sunlight and provide a comfortable natural thermic balance. Each bedroom has its own fully equipped bathroom, the architecture of the apartment providing intimacy and a generous private space. Our own life philosophy is turned toward protecting the nature and preserving its limited resources through moderate consumption. To this end we use natural ventilation, which is not difficult taking into account the cool evenings and the fresh breeze along the day. The curtains and the shades are also playing an important role in keeping the sunlight away when needed. The entire apartment is lightened by LED, the white goods are from a superior energy class (A+++) which helps us reduce our carbon print. Nevertheless we kindly invite our guests to ask themselves, before turning an electrical device on, "do I really need it at this moment and how could I make it more efficiently"? This would be a first step in protecting our planet, this wonder that we were blessed with and that we wish to continue to enjoy for many years from now and to pass to our children. In the same line of thoughts we are using bio detergents and try to reduce the amount of plastic bags and wrapping. It would be great if you could do the same. The neighborhood is very friendly and manicured. We love walking to the beach, to the supermarket or for long evening walking tours. The beach is reached in a 12 minutes walk and then you can continue either left or right on the Passeo as long as your batteries last. All is amazingly beautiful and we never have enough of it. There is plenty of choices of restaurants and large beaches. Puerto Duquesa is in a very close distance and you can enjoy vibrant evenings there but in a more relaxed manner than Puerto Banus or Marbella. Which, by the way are in a 30 minutes driving distance if you wish to visit. On the other side of the Costa, Sottogrande is very close, Gibraltar, Tarifa where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean (a unique spot in the world) and Africa is a stone's throw away. If you are a kitesurfing and windsurfing fan, there are wonderful and famous dedicated beaches for you in a rather short distance. The entertainment possibilities are countless, long strolls, sunbathing, horse riding, cycling, golfing to name but a few. A wide range of international cuisines are covered by the numerous restaurants, ranging from top notch to local Chiringuitos. For shopping there are a lot of options. If you are into high end fashion, Puerto Banus is for you. El Corte Ingles or La Canada will be your places. In Estepona you can find a few multi-brand shops and many in Marbella, Puerto Banus or Gibraltar, of course. And if you are into cultural trips there are many one day trips possibilities: Cordoba, Granada, Sevilla, Cadiz, Malaga, Nerja, Maroc and many, many more. Enough reasons to come back year after year.

As key holding and cleaning of the property is done through a local property management company, a 120 euro fee is to be paid to them directly for the stay.
We only let the apartment for periods higher than 0ne week.
The upper side of the bedrooms closets and the under the beds storage spaces are all closed and reserved to the owners.
