Given the small footprint of our home, it is best for small families or groups of 4 or less (we are open to any offer/request, but this is also our preference when considering exchange guests). We kindly ask for a minimum of 4 nights for all summer stays.
Our home was recently built and is located in beautiful Whitefish, Montana (USA), about 30 minutes from Glacier National Park (West Glacier entrance). The house is situated on part of the river trail, one of the many paved paths that flows throughout the city. Great for walking and biking down to the nearby river or around town! Whitefish is also home to a beautiful lake only 5 minutes from our house where you can go boating, or just hang out on the lake shore. We are also a short 15-minute ride up to Whitefish Mountain Resort (also known as Big Mountain) for world class skiing in the winter.
This house is a 3 bed/2.5 bath with about 1500 sq feet of living space. Given the small footprint, it is best for small families or groups of 4 or less. We live in a pocket community, so the homes are somewhat close together and our house faces our neighbor across the way. We share communal grass space in the front of our home, that the HOA maintains. There is no private yard but is a small, enclosed patio.
All bedrooms are upstairs, and the layout is the following:
Master bedroom - King Bed with attached bathroom
2nd bedroom - Full/Double Bed
3rd bedroom - Queen Bed with small desk space
Our garage is locked off during exchanges, there is plenty of parking out front, but please note, we do not have a direct driveway to park in and you have to walk down a path to get to our front door.

Whitefish is a fantastic town to enjoy in the summer or winter months! Our neighborhood is tucked back off the river and is surrounded by a lot of farm/open land and some nice private trees on the trail side. It is very close to downtown and all the things you might want to explore around the city.

Downtown Whitefish is 1.5 miles away (5 min) drive. We have a very cute downtown with many amazing restaurants given the size of our town. City Beach at Whitefish Lake is a 10 minute drive, which is one of the public access points for swimming and hanging at the lake. Whitefish Mountain (ski) resort is 15 minutes away, they offer downhill mountain biking, gondola rides to the top of the mountain (for great views into GNP!), and of course amazing skiing in the winter. West Glacier (the closest entrance into Glacier Nat'l Park) is 30 minutes away to the gate.

Our garage will be off limits and locked during your stay. There is plenty of street parking out front for you to park, but we do not have our own driveway for parking.
