Our home is a family-friendly space where we spend time playing, working, entertaining, and learning. We have three children ages 7-12 and our home is used for working from home, cooking, playing board and card games, and enjoying our backyard.
NEW in 2021. We just finished a remodel including a full kitchen remodel, new appliances in kitchen and laundry, new flooring throughout the downstairs and partial upstairs.

We live in West Olympia, just five minutes away from the Puget Sound, Capitol Lake, and downtown Olympia. Our house backs up to a beautiful forest that contains a community trail that we regularly walk on. Walk or bike 1/3 mile down the street to the local school playground, soccer fields, and track.
Olympia is the capital of our state and with access to mountains, rivers, lakes, and the Puget Sound, we think we live in one of the most beautiful parts of the United States. Because we are at the bottom of the Puget Sound, you can reach cities, national parks, and nature-filled points of interest within 1-2 hours in either direction. Perfect for day trips to experience the best that the Northwest has to offer! We live 1 hour away from Seattle, 1 hour from the Washington coast/Pacific Ocean, 1 hour from Olympic National Park, 2 hours from Rainier National Park, and 2 hours from Portland.

We have a kid friendly space, including a playroom and big backyard with a trampoline, play structure, and garden.
We have a 2 year old Cavapoo who doesn't shed. He won't be here for home exchanges, but wanted to note if you have severe allergies.
The master bedroom has a queen bed. One bedroom has a twin-sized captain's bed. A second bedroom has a full bed and a twin bunk bed. The fourth bedroom has a twin bed with a trundle. Downstairs there is a fold-down double futon and a giant bean bag that guests have been known to sleep on before. :)
