ABOUT THE HOUSE
Enjoy panoramic beach and ocean views, and watch the sun set over the Andaman Sea, in this modern luxury villa overlooking Surin Beach.
Adorned with original art and designer furniture, this fully equipped 400-square-meter contemporary beach villa is a “home away from home,” with views over Surin Beach and the Andaman Sea from every room.
A few meters walk away from two of Phuket’s top beaches – Surin and Laem Singh – the villa has two luxurious living areas. The main living room covers the entire middle floor, and has an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area opening onto a terrace, sala and infinity pool. Dine with family and friends at the morning breakfast bar in the new Poliform kitchen. Eat dinners while watching the sunset at the 8-person dining table. Lay back on the Giandi Blasco outdoor furniture on the pool terrace. Plug your iPod, iPhone or Mac directly into the villa’s fully-fledged audio system, with separate sets of B&W; speakers covering the living area, sala and master bedroom.
The second living area is a media room. When you need a break from the sun and the water, chill out in the deep L-shaped sofa and watch the flat screen TV – there is a DVD player and cable TV. This room is also perfect for young children to play. Designed to convert into a fourth bedroom if needed, it comes with a full bathroom, cupboards and the couch can be turned into a queen size bed.
In addition to the media room, there are three bedrooms. The secluded master suite takes up the entire top floor -- 80 square meters of private space. Soak in the ocean-facing spa or relax on the sun deck and day bed. A four-poster bed takes center stage, surrounded by original Thai artwork and a chaise lounge for reading. There is a desk/phone if you need to stay in touch with work, and wireless Internet throughout the villa. A separate bathroom features two sinks, a large area for yoga, a separate shower with views over the Amanpuri headland, and a detached toilet.
Two bedrooms — each themed in a different colour - and each with its own charm, sit on the ground level. These bedrooms come with ensuite bathrooms, open views, original art and balconies. The red bedroom has a 4-poster queen size bed, and the blue bedroom is a “kids room” with 2 single beds and a 3rd slide-out trundle bed if needed.
Set in a small boutique development, this villa is the ultimate in discreet luxury and privacy. There is no “hotel style” management and no live-in staff so you have the place to yourself. However, the maid comes five days a week (NB 6 days can be arranged on request), villa manager Knight Frank are available full-time for any technical issues, and Awesome Villas provides “concierge” service as required. You get the benefits of full service, but with the privacy of a home. This is not a “rental villa” but truly the owners “second home.”

Take a dip in the Andaman Sea during the day then start the evening with cocktails at the Amanpuri bar, followed by dinner at Taste. Shop at boutique mall Surin Plaza, or the many other luxury clothes and antiques shops. The villa is only a few minutes drive from Catch Beach Club on Bang Tao, or Cafe del Mar on Kamala Beach. Surin Beach is also only 15 minutes drive from top restaurants near Patong such as Baan Rim Pa, Lim’s, De Maurizio and Acqua.
Bocconcino deli-restaurant is around the corner from the villa, and there are local and upmarket supermarkets like Villa Market 10 minutes drive away near the Laguna complex at Cherngthalay. Bakeries, wine shops, bars and restaurants such as Black Cat, Pesto, Sunset, Supper Club and Tatonka’s are all here. The villa is also near a minigolf course at Bangtao beach, the horse and elephant rides at the Laguna complex, and the owners can arrange “member rates” for golf at the Blue Canyon Country Club.
