Janice tells us about her home exchange on Lago di Garda and her visit to the lovely city of Verona.
How did you find your exchange?
A member from the HomeExchange community contacted me.
What attracted you to this exchange opportunity?
I wanted to be near the city of Verona so that I could attend an Il Volo performance in The Arena. I also wanted to be near the airport in Venice. This was a perfect location.
How was your arrival at the home?
Not only did we meet our host, we have become close friends with the whole family. This was our first exchange and I don't think we could find another that could match this perfect experience.
What did you see or do during your exchange?
Went to a concert in the "Arena" in Verona. Toured Florence and took a golf cart tour of the whole area. Stayed in Portovenere for a couple of nights and then back to Desenzano, which is a fabulous city on it's own, and then toured Venice before flying home.
What is your favorite memory from the exchange?
Getting to know our hosts and all of their family.
How would you describe home exchange to your family and friends?
I have told everyone I know about Home Exchange and how pleased we were with this service.
