"The pub The Rusty Mackerel is only 12 km from my cottage in Donegal. They won “Best New Pub in Ireland 2019” so they won’t be in any guidebooks yet. The food is amazing!! And so close to the Slieve League cliffs."

"I loved Cassidy's and we frequented there when I was doing my exchange in Dublin. There are cheap pints and boardgames to have a good time with friends! I also recommend Hacienda Bar. Tucked away in a quiet street, walking past, you would never have imagined how cool it would be in there. It's super cosy and feels so familiar! There's even a pool table in there!"

"Queen of Tarts is my best address in Dublin 😍 for a delicious and original breakfast or a snack with huge and excellent cakes (lemon meringue pie is exceptional).

"You should take the ferry to Tory Island. We went there to see puffins. First we went where the tourist map said they would be - only saw rabbits. Then we asked a local and he guided us. Best day ever with a bit of walking. Bring food and drinks. Fantastic area with marvelous nature."
