We loved the long spiral staircase to the sunroof with gorgeous views of the ocean and fireworks at night.

Our exchange partner responded instantly to our request and made a spontaneous, last-minute getaway possible.
What did you see or do during your exchange?
We enjoyed swimming in the pool, cooking meals and eating outside on the patio, discovering the best passion fruit ice cream, hiking to waterfalls, and swimming in secluded ocean coves.
Travel with HomeExchangeWhat is one of your best memories or experiences from a home exchange?
The summer my siblings and I learned to play chess, sitting outside on the balcony of our HomeExchange Parisian apartment, above the bustling city streets below.

What tips and tricks would you give to new HomeExchangers?
Communicate efficiently and often. Communication can be varied through video calls, email, or phone. Building trust and a connection is key. Making sure both parties can get in touch with each other during the exchange is also important.
