We had a wonderful vacation in Nogent-sur-Marne, in Ile de France region, just a half an hour from Paris.
A few months ago we received a proposal to replace an apartment in France. We never heard of Nogent-sur-Marne but according to the pictures of the house, we did not hesitate for a moment. We searched the map and saw that the place was not far from Paris. The house itself is located on the banks of a river and around rich vegetation.
The communication with our host was very pleasant. Every question we had was answered. Both in the period before the exchange and during the exchange itself.
When we got to the house we were very impressed. The apartment was much bigger than we expected. The hosts left us a bottle of wine and in the evening we used to sit on the terrace and drink wine in front of the stream. It was even better, for we had a full moon…
The relaxed atmosphere affected us very much and the entire vacation felt comfortable. We discovered that there was a very impressive forest a few minutes from the house and we used to buy baguette and cheeses, take bikes and spend a whole day in nature.
There were days when we went to Paris and visited the famous sites. Since the replacement of the apartments included changing cars we could travel to travel. We chose to go to Wine Route and to visit the beautiful town of Colmar.

On the last day, we were at the foundation Louis Vuitton museum and saw a very special exhibition of African artists. It was a very special experience. Of course, the museum itself is very interesting due to Frank Gary’s special architecture.
