Visit Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox

When you dock back at the mall, gather the family for a walking tour of New England’s quintessential 17th century architecture found on Beacon Hill. The neighborhood is known for its Federal-style rowhouses, narrow gaslit streets and brick sidewalks. Beacon Hill’s world famous Acorn Street has been featured in many magazines and advertisements as the last true cobblestone street in the area, so don’t be shy to stop a stranger for a quick family photo.

The Boston Commons are just at the bottom of the hill where you can allow the children to frollic and play through the 50 acre public park. Wander over to the Boston Public Garden, right near the park grounds, where you can take a family paddle boat ride through the pond or sit under one of the many willow trees to relax.
If you’re looking for the perfect family styled dinner, make your way to the North End home to Boston’s oldest residential community and a mixture of architecture from all periods of American history. The North End features dozens of traditional Italian-American restaurants with favorites from pizza to spaghetti meatballs.
